Different associations of Nepalese tourism industry today stressed on the need of fostering unity among the associations and jointly face the problems plaguing the tourism industry.
The representatives of the associations participated on a scheduled breakfast meeting on the Wednesday organized on the aegis of Nepal Association of Rafting Agents (NARA).
According to Nabaraj Dahal, general secretary of Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), the meeting decided to form a federation of all travel trade associations of the country to jointly tackle the problems of tourism industry.
Representatives of TAAN, NATTA, NATO, PATA Nepal Chapter, HAN, NARA, TTDC and others participated in the breakfast meeting.
The meeting also discussed on several issues like strengthening of NAC, restructuring of NTB and also on the formation of tourism council.
The breakfast meeting is organized every three months.
