Silk Air, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has decided to increase its frequency on the Kathmandu sector to four flights a week from September.
According to Sudhir Raj Pandey, sales manager of the airline, the airline has already begun taking booking for the fourth flight. We have already started receiving bookings for the fourth flight, said Pandey.
Yau Seng, chief executive of Silk Air, said that they would like to increase the flight frequency even further in future. In northern winter season, we are planning to fly six times a week, if we manage to secure appropriate airport slots. Nepal is proving to be a very popular destination for people from many countries in our network, he said.
